Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electronic Prepress Technician to join our

production team. This role is responsible for preparing digital files for print, ensuring color

accuracy, layout precision, and file integrity from client submission through final plate output.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, preflight, and prepare client-supplied files for offset, digital, or large-format

printing

• Manipulate and correct files using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator,

Photoshop, Acrobat)

• Create impositions, proofs, and plate-ready PDFs using software such as Apogee, Design

Merge, ect.

• Troubleshoot file issues including font conflicts, color space conversions, bleed,

resolution, trapping, etc.

• Maintain consistent file archiving, version control, and documentation procedures

• Collaborate with production, sales, and design teams to ensure client expectations and

press specs are met

• Generate color-calibrated proofs and perform quality checks on output
