Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Postpartum Doula to provide high-quality care and support to families in the postpartum period. This role requires a high degree of precision, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce consistent, repeatable results. The ideal candidate will be patient, conscientious, and able to follow well-defined processes to ensure the best possible care for families during their transition into parenthood. This position focuses on delivering highly polished, well-presented work and creating a calm, professional environment for families. Responsibilities:

• Provide emotional, physical, and practical support to families after childbirth.
• Assist with newborn care, including diapering, feeding, and soothing techniques.
• Offer guidance on breastfeeding support and newborn sleep patterns.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as meal prep, tidying up, and organizing to support the family’s daily needs.
• Maintain a steady, predictable pace with attention to the consistent quality of your work.
• Ensure high-quality, repeatable results in every aspect of postpartum care.
• Follow established systems, procedures, and protocols to ensure care is delivered effectively and efficiently.
• Communicate professionally and politely with families, offering detailed information only when necessary.
• Provide advice and guidance based on training and expertise, offering valuable support while maintaining focus on tasks at hand.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of families at all times.

Requirements:

• Must have 2-3 excellent references.
• Must be Covid vaccinated/boosted and TDAP vaccinated.
• Able to make a one-year commitment to the role.
• Legal work authorization in the U.S.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to adhere to defined processes and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on professionalism and helpfulness.
• Ability to work independently and follow well-established protocols with minimal need for modification.
• A steady, consistent work ethic, with the ability to complete tasks with precision and focus.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment, with a team-oriented approach.
