Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Tanker Driver to join our team. The Tanker Driver will be responsible for transporting various materials safely and efficiently to designated locations.
Duties:
- Operate tanker trucks to transport cement/Fly ash powder to specified destinations
- Load and unload materials from tanker trucks
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays -Properly uses time clocks, fuel system, and the blower system
-Properly fills out the Drivers Inspection Reports
-Complies with all Federal, State, and local laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, and statutory documentation requirements
-Cleans up the inside of the Truck Cab at the end of his/her shift.
-Perform other such duties necessary or required or as requested by the Tanker Driver Supervisor.
-Complete assignments on schedule.
-Attends and actively participates in quarterly safety meetings.
-Keeps dispatcher informed on a timely basis of problems in meeting delivery schedules due to mechanical breakdown, road conditions and other factors.
Skills:
- Experience with tractor-trailer driving
- Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Requirements:
-Minimum of two years of driving a commercial vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A CDL) with a clean driving record
-Medical Examiner's certificate
- Proven experience as a long-haul driver or in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Reports to work on time on a consistent basis and doesn't abuse personal time off.
-Demonstrate good judgement and problem solving
-Maintains cooperative working relationships and professionalism with supervisor, co-workers, and supply vendors.
