Position Overview:

The Plant Administrator will report directly to the Plant Manager and be responsible for the ‘front door’ of the plant. They will engage with visitors and the appropriate managers/supervisors upon entry the building. This position will help organize the odds and ends of the plant and be responsible for ordering of office supplies, labels, and other designated goods/services.

Position Responsibilities:

• Managing the front door and any visitors to the plant. Having them comply with GMP’s and the visitor policies
• Directing drivers to correct door/dock
• Ordering of office supplies, labels and goods
• Aid in inventory of supplies
• Answering/directing incoming phone calls to proper receiver

Qualifications, Education, & Preferred Skills Requirements:

• Demonstrated team building and leadership skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong mathematical, written, and oral communication skills
• Well organized and self-directed
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Explorer
• Bilingual in Spanish/English

Work Environment and Physical Demands :

• Tasks may require long periods of walking and standing
• Tasks require stooping, bending, kneeling, occasional crawling
• Requires regula r use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, and scanner/copier)
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust to focus
• Normal Production Plant environment with controlled climate
• Exposure to fluorescent lighting
• Production environment noise (any exposure to noise above 85 dbl requires hearing protection)
• Some local in town travel may be required
