Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) :
- Delivering expert lymphedema care to patients in their homes.
- Collaborate with the therapy team to implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on care, focusing on therapeutic interventions for lymphedema patients.
- Accurately documents patient progress and ensures compliance with clinical standards.
- Maintain adherence to regulatory and infection control standards.
Qualifications for the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Role :
- Active PT license in Florida.
- 1 year of home health experience; experience with lymphedema care is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Skilled in clinical documentation software.
