Job Description

The Law Collective is seeking an experienced and passionate Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. As a Litigation Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in advocating for our clients through various litigation processes. Our firm is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services in a collaborative and client-focused environment. You will have the opportunity to take on challenging cases, manage all phases of litigation, and work closely with a team of talented legal professionals. Salary: $500,000-700,000/yr. + commission

Location: Near Downtown Los Angeles, CA (with parking)

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in various litigation matters in state and federal courts.
  • Research and analyze legal issues and case law to develop strategies.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, seeking optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct depositions and hearings, presenting cases effectively.
  • Manage case files, ensuring adherence to deadlines and legal requirements.
  • Communicate with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and options. 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in personal injury, or employment, or workers compensation is a must.
  • Active license to practice law in the state where the firm operates.
  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and litigation software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases effectively under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
