Job Description

Pride Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech for a 13-week assignment at a leading facility in Elmhurst, NY. This opportunity offers not just a great assignment, but also the conversion to Permanent placement with a top-notch healthcare provider!

Key details:

Shift :8Hours Shift, every other weekend is required

Scheduled Hours : 40 Hours a Week

Hourly Pay Rate : $26.00 – $29.00

Qualifications :

• EKG certificate needed
• Phlebotomy Certificate needed
• BLS (AHA)

Responsibilities :

• Take and record patient vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature)
• Assist physicians during patient exams
• Prepare and clean examination rooms
• Perform basic lab tests and collect samples
• Administer medications or injections as instructed
• Performs and documents glucose finger sticks and collect other specimens as directed.
• Manage patient appointments and medical records
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
