Job Title: Office Services Associate

Location: On-site | Hartford, CT

Compensation: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time | Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time Office Services Associate to join our team at a client site in Hartford, CT. This is a temporary position with no defined end date, and an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

This role focuses primarily on mailroom and print support, with cross-training in hospitality services and reception coverage. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a professional demeanor, a client-first attitude, and a strong sense of accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Mailroom & Print Services

  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Process print jobs including scanning, copying, binding, and bulk printing
  • Monitor and replenish supplies for mail and print areas
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the print/mail stations

Reception & Hospitality Support

  • Provide backup coverage for reception as needed
  • Greet visitors and clients professionally and courteously
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls appropriately
  • Coordinate conference room setups, catering orders, and guest services

Administrative & Office Support

  • Assist with scanning, faxing, filing, and other clerical tasks
  • Support attorneys and staff with general administrative needs
  • Ensure adherence to site policies, procedures, and confidentiality protocols
  • Report facility or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact

Training & Policy Enforcement

  • Help onboard new team members by sharing building policies and procedures
  • Identify and report any gaps in compliance or adherence to safety guidelines

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in office services, facilities support, or a related administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information appropriately
