Job Title: Residential Paralegal

Location: Manhattan, NY (Financial District)

Salary: $75,000 – $150,000 (Based on Experience)

Job Type: Full-Time | On-site

Our client, a prestigious and highly regarded real estate law firm located in the heart of Downtown Manhattan, is actively seeking an experienced Residential Real Estate Banking Paralegal to join one of New York City’s leading residential real estate practices. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside seasoned attorneys and industry professionals on a wide range of sophisticated transactions across the NYC residential market.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage all phases of residential real estate transactions, including purchases, refinances, construction loans, and co-op/condo closings.
• Coordinate with clients, lenders, attorneys, and title companies from contract through closing.
• Prepare and review Closing Disclosures (CDs), HUD-1s, ALTA statements, and title documents.
• Draft and process CEMAs and UCC filings, and assist in clearing title exceptions and coordinating closing logistics.
• Oversee pre- and post-closing duties, including title review, lien payoff coordination, disbursements, and document recording.
• Maintain accurate records in the firm’s case management system and manage a high-volume pipeline efficiently.

What They Need:

• 2+ years of experience as a paralegal in NYC residential real estate banking
• Strong working knowledge of co-op and condo transactions, CEMAs, and title review
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
• Ability to work on-site full time in Manhattan (Financial District)
