P&O (Human Resources) Business Partner Location Hybrid remote in Newark, NJ :

The Global P&O Business Partner plays a critical role in partnering with the Global Demand functions to deliver the Mars Snacking Purpose though our business ambition of $30B by 2023. The P&O Business Partner will develop and deploy strategic People plans in service of the Mars Wrigley People Strategy (Culture Counts, Competitive Capabilities, Talent Ecosystem and Networked and Learning Enterprise) to enable the global functional success.

This function includes all of the groups that report through to Sales, DCOM and Marketing. Additionally, the Business Partner will play a key role in supporting or co-leading successful transversal enterprise initiatives to drive overall unit effectiveness and transformative change.

This role interacts with the Global Growth Leadership Team, in particular the Chief Customer Officer, VP for DCOM, VP for Portfolio Strategy & Innovation, Portfolio VPs and the Chief Brand Officer and their respective teams to drive strategy of the function and integration of people plans. This role will also interact with the Global Business Partners across all functions and Regional Demand BPs.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum qualification: bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Management or related field. Master / Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or related is preferred.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 7 or more years of progressive P&O and/or leadership experience

  • P&O Generalist experience working at senior levels, or demonstrated strength in people leadership in another function

  • Solid knowledge of global and local policies and practices and understand their application in solving business needs and ability to provide guidance

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of progressive P&O and/or leadership experience

  • Demonstrated capability in deploying strategies at the functional leadership level and enterprise level

  • Demonstrated experience using the organizational development life cycle (hypothesis, data, analytics insights, diagnosis, creation of strategy or intervention, deployment, measure and sustain) or other functional equivalent

  • Demonstrated capability in leading medium scale change management (ex. functional level change initiatives)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, using a comprehensive approach with strong attention to detail

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Partner with the Global Demand Leadership Teams to evolve and deploy the long & short term People agenda, created with the use of data & analytics insights, across the MW People Strategy pillars (Culture Counts, Talent Ecosystem, Competitive Capabilities, Networked & Learning Enterprise),

  • Partner with the Global Sales, DCOM & Marketing Leaders to build high performing and effective teams and act as the global P&O lead for all relevant transformations. Act as a trusted coach and credible partner to the senior leaders within Global Leadership Teams.

  • Use Organizational Development (OD) principles and data analytics to develop and deploy rigorous people plans and strategies across the Global Demand groups that support business growth and associate development/engagement; develop and engage in appropriate OD interventions that strengthen the health of the organization and enable a high-performance culture.

  • Provide P&O Leadership for the One Demand Program, partnering the leadership team, developing the Capability Journey for the Global Centre Region and connecting the Global Demand BPs together to identify opportunities to share best practice and scale solutions.

  • Work closely with MyP&O and Centers of Expertise (ex. Rewards, Talent, etc.) to collaboratively design and deploy interventions specific to the needs of the MW Growth Leadership Teams, and deploy global standard processes where required.

  • Drive efficiency across the P&O operating model by facilitating the adoption of Mars signature programs, leading and managing unit specific projects, and providing P&O support to functional leadership teams.

  • Lead all key talent, culture and P&O signature process elements within Global Demand Functions and other functions as needed.
