A growing pharmaceutical company in Summit, NJ is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their office and serve as the central point of contact for employees, vendors, and leadership. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and able to create a positive and productive work environment while keeping all aspects of the office running smoothly.

The purpose of this role is to create an environment of hospitality for the employees to have an enjoyable work day with the support they require to do their jobs effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office operations and logistics to ensure a well-functioning workplace.
  • Manage office supply ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Serve as the point person for employees, addressing office-related needs and inquiries.
  • Build and maintain company culture through thoughtful initiatives and engagement.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires and ensuring a seamless integration process.
  • Plan and manage office events, team activities, and celebrations.
  • Coordinate and oversee office renovation projects, liaising with contractors and vendors.
  • Partner with leadership to streamline office processes and support company goals.
  • Keep the office tidy and organized throughout the day.
  • Partner with the in office chef to ensure they have the support they need.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of office management or operations experience, ideally in a corporate or pharmaceutical setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience managing vendors, facilities, and budgets.
  • Ability to balance day-to-day operations with strategic culture-building initiatives.
  • Service mentality with a heart of hospitality.

Location: Summit, NJ

Schedule: In-office Monday–Thursday, Remote Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 + benefits
