Job Title: Nurse Supervisor – Urgent Care Facility

Location: Miami, FL

Employment Type: Full-Time

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor to join our urgent care facility within a large hospital system in Miami . This leadership position is ideal for a highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. As the Nurse Supervisor , you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and leading a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Leadership & Supervision: Provide oversight of nursing staff, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols, urgent care best practices, and regulatory standards.
  • Staff Management & Development: Supervise, mentor, and train nurses and medical support staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional growth.
  • Patient Care Coordination: Ensure efficient triage, treatment, and discharge processes while maintaining a high standard of patient-centered care.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor patient flow, staffing levels, and resource utilization to optimize urgent care operations.
  • Quality & Safety Assurance: Implement and enforce infection control measures, safety protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, hospital administrators, and support staff to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Emergency Response: Provide leadership in handling emergency situations, including rapid assessment, stabilization, and coordination of higher-level care when necessary.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience as an RN, preferably in urgent care, emergency medicine, or acute care settings.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of urgent care protocols, electronic health records (EHR), and regulatory compliance standards.
