We have an immediate opportunity for a dynamic National Salesperson to help us manage current accounts and to expand our reach to national retail stores across the USA and Canada. B&D Group is a fashion forward toy and gift development company that manufactures about 500 different one-of-a-kind SKUs of innovative and stylish consumer products ranging from Dazzling Pool Floaties, Motorized Pool Loungers, Inflatable Snow Sleds, Inflatable Indoor-Outdoor Furniture, Outdoor Family Yard Games and Bluetooth Speakers. Our company is led by a senior management team that each has more than 30 years’ experience in the toy and recreation industry.

We specialize in developing a wide range of products at multiple price points for both high-end retailers as well as low cost, off-brand products for Mass Retailers and Dollar Stores channels.

We have products that are available to sell for every season of the year marketed across our exclusive brands; PoolCandy, SnowCandy, YardCandy, SoundCandy and AirCandy, as well as Little Tikes & RealTree brand licenses which we sell through national retail stores and ecommerce channels. Our exclusive products can be found under our owned brands or store owned private brands in well recognized categories of national retailers such as:

· Department Stores - Macy’s, JC Penney, Nordstrom, Kohl’s, Neiman Marcus, and Dillard’s.

· Warehouse Clubs - BJ’s Wholesale Club and Sam’s Club.

· Grocery – Publix, Kroger, Albertsons, and HEB.

· Mass – Walmart and Target.

· Drug Stores – Walgreens and CVS.

· Sporting Goods – Dicks, Big 5 and Academy Sporting Goods.

· Dollar Stores – Dollar Tree and Dollar General.

· Mail Order - Sharper Image, Williams-Sonoma, Hammacher Schlemmer and Amazon.

· Hardware – Lowe’s, Ace, Do it Best and True Value.

· Specialty Stores – Forever 21, Leslie's Pool Supply, Regional Toy Stores, Pool Stores & Beach Surf Shops.

We traditionally supply our wholesale customers directly with FOB shipments from our factories overseas or for our over 1,000 smaller to mid-size customers, we supply domestically out of our Doral, Florida or Wenatchee, Washington warehouse locations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and grow a portfolio of existing retailer accounts.

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential retail partners.

· Conduct warm calling to generate new business opportunities.

· Brainstorm product ideas with buyers and collaborate with our product team to bring them to life.

· Manage current outside rep groups and hire new reps or distributors as needed.

This position will report directly to the V.P. of Sales and the President, working closely with both to drive our sales strategy and growth.

Requirements:

· At least 5 years’ proven experience in wholesale selling to national retailers.

· Experience managing multi-sized accounts ranging each from four to seven figures annual sales volume.

· Strong understanding of the retail landscape and trends in the USA and Canada would be a plus.

· Ability to negotiate and close deals with big box retailers.

· Available to travel as needed to trade shows and retailer offices for in-person buyer line reviews.

· Collaborate with our operations and development team from our Miami, Florida office.

· Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

· Self-motivated with a passion for achieving targets and driving growth.

· Skilled at selling in person, by email or over the phone.

· Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
