We are currently seeking an experienced Multi-Site Property Manager to join our team and oversee a portfolio of 7 small properties, totaling 68 units.
**Position Overview:**
The Multi-Site Property Manager will be responsible for the overall management, operation, and profitability of multiple properties within our portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of low-income housing property management regulations and best practices. The ideal candidate will ensure that all properties meet financial goals, maintain high occupancy rates, and provide exceptional tenant satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Portfolio Management:** Oversee multiple properties, ensuring compliance with agency and company policies, state and federal regulations, and industry standards.
- **Financial Oversight:** Prepare and manage annual budgets, track financial performance, and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability for each property.
- **Tenant Relations:** Foster strong relationships with tenants, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and coordinating tenant communications to enhance the community experience.
- **Team Leadership:** Supervise on-site property managers and staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure operational excellence across all properties.
- **Property Maintenance:** Coordinate maintenance activities and property improvements, ensuring that properties are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
- **Marketing & Leasing:** Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants, oversee leasing processes, and ensure vacancies are filled promptly.
- **Reporting:** Prepare regular reports on property performance, maintenance updates, and financial status for senior management review.
- **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding property management, fair housing, and safety regulations. Ensure all files are certified according to agency requirements.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 3-5 years of property management experience, with a focus on multi-site management, LIHTC, HOME. and voucher agency relationships.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Proficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
