We are seeking a  Mid to Senior Level C# Developer with expertise in backend and data-focused development. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable, high-performance applications, working with databases, and implementing robust backend solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our data conversion and processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards (HIPAA, GDPR)
• Work with  legacy file-based data systems  (e.g., FoxPro, Btrieve, etc.)
• Develop and maintain backend applications using C# .NET Core
• Work with  SQL databases  (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)
• Implement and maintain  ETL pipelines  for data processing and migration
• Integrate with external  RESTful APIs
• Build and manage our own internal RESTful APIs
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices
• Utilize Git  for source code control, branching, and collaboration
• Conduct  code reviews , debugging, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on  CI/CD pipelines  and cloud deployments
• Work with large datasets, optimizing queries and database performance
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience with  legacy file-based systems  (e.g., FoxPro, Btrieve, etc.)
• Knowledge of  data security and compliance standards  (HIPAA, GDPR)
• 5+ years  of professional experience in  C# .NET backend development
• Experience with SQL databases  (queries, stored procedures, indexing, optimization)
• Hands-on experience with  Git  for version control
• Experience developing and integrating  RESTful APIs
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization
• Experience with asynchronous programming  and multithreading
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Skills:

• Knowledge of  Azure  (primary cloud platform); familiarity with  AWS or GCP  is a plus
• Exposure to  Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies
• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus)
• Familiarity with PowerShell or scripting languages  for automation
• Understanding of  CI/CD tools  (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
