Chaminade High School seeks a full-time Mathematics Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.

Mathematics Teacher

The Mathematics Department prioritizes student-centered learning in the classroom, utilizing Desmos activities and whiteboard thinking tasks as students collaborate in groups to solve problems and communicate their reasoning.

In addition to instructional responsibilities, Chaminade faculty coordinate the extensive after-school program of extra-curricular and co-curricular clubs and activities.

Requirements

• NYS Certification Math 7-12
• Relevant Master's Degree (completed or in the process)

Preferred

• Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience
• Ability to teach all levels of high-school math, including AP Calculus BC
• Familiarity with building student-centered Desmos and whiteboard activities and incorporating the principles of Peter Liljedahl’s Building Thinking Classrooms
