Maintenance Technician (Heavy Equipment)

Oxnard, California (Commutable from Ventura, Moorpark, Camarillo)

$45/hr - $58/hr + Overtime + Progression to Branch Manager or Technical Communicator + Training + Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k, profit sharing, + PTO & Holidays

Are you a Shop Technician with heavy equipment experience, looking to work for a market leading organization offering specialist training and progression opportunities into management or technically?

You will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining a variety of equipment such as backhoes, loaders, excavators, generators, compressors, and diesel engines. This company pride themselves on continued training courses to help all employees become technical experts in their field.

This role would suit a Master Technician, looking to work for an organization at the forefront of the heavy equipment industry, offering continued training and progression opportunities.

The Role:

• Perform repairs with limited departmental supervision with higher level of responsibility for repair
• Disassemble and assemble machines/components. Recondition/repair as required.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting on specialized heavy equipment

The Person:

• Have their own tools ready for repairs
• 5+ years working on any of the following heavy equipment: CAT/Cummins Engines, Loaders, Excavators, Forklifts, Rental machinery, Power generation, Generators, Compressors or Diesel Engines.
