This position will maintain and repair equipment including, but not limited to, lathes, mills, cranes, a/c units, welding and heat treating equipment and any other mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic machine as required. This position will maintain and repair equipment at the facility. They will cross-train other maintenance employees if needed. Will maintain department records as required and work on projects related to increased production and handle special projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Conduct preventive maintenance to mechanical devices
  • Working on engines and hydraulics such as forklifts, cranes, manlifts, air compressors, light plants, Detroit diesel engines, and others.
  • Detect malfunctions through observation (sound or visual).
  • Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality.
  • Repair broken or faulty machine parts.
  • Perform emergency repairs.
  • Choose appropriate materials based on mechanical needs.
  • Align and calibrate machine parts.

  • Monitor and report on project progress.
  • Follow safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Will be in charge of LOTO Procedure and verify that all logs are kept.
  • Keep up a repair log kept to API Q2 and ISO standards.
  • Track all maintenance costs.
  • Keep all scheduled maintenance of all equipment.
  • Sign off and verify that all daily / weekly / monthly yearly checks of all equipment are being done.
  • Establish relationship with vendors and continuously get several estimates to get cost savings.
  • Keep all equipment manuals and parts lists.
  • Keep a log of equipment fluid vendors.
  • Responsible for log and plant gauge, relief valve calibration.
  • Will be able to contract, supervise and aid in most third-party projects.
  • Must be able to break down and put back together pumps along with alignment.
  • Replace and repair plant valves, actuators, and position switches.
  • Will be “On Call” during non-working days and hours.
  • Able to travel to well sites if required to setup dry product systems (bulk tanks, air blowers or compressors, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or educational equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience.
  • A/C certification.
  • Electrical Maintenance.
  • Stationary Engineer.
