LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Logistics Specialist to join their team. You will play a pivotal role in carrier management, invoice auditing, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of intermodal transportation, acting as a liaison between supply chain teams, warehouses, carriers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders.
• Manage and track inbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and effective carrier performance.
• Conduct thorough charge investigations, push back on discrepancies, and lead invoice auditing with a focus on accuracy and cost control.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers and freight forwarders, ensuring proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, port/rail disruptions, and regulatory changes.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, IF statements) for data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate on projects that drive departmental and customer objectives.
• Demonstrate a “go-getter” attitude—willing to jump in wherever needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a logistics or transportation capacity.
• Strong Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, IF statements required).
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
• Proven track record in carrier management, charge investigations, and invoice auditing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and resourceful.

Compensation Range: $60,000-$75,000
