Position Overview :

Responsible for facilitating import operations of Del Monte Fresh Produce to ensure timely clearances of our produce into the US Market

Key Areas of Responsibility :

• Assist with all import operations of DMFP.
• Filing ISF’s for US import cargo.
• Responsible for preparing US and Canadian commercial invoices for Customs purposes.
• Support the N.A. Product Teams with coordination of cargo movements from arrival ports to final destination.
• Process all vendor invoices for Customs Compliance Department including DMFP’s Periodic Monthly statement invoices.
• Assist Global Logistics Department with reporting and accounting issues in financial journals.
• Responsible for reviewing invoices for the proper vendor, address, amount, and duties.
• Assist with quarterly value reconciliation for Customs value purposes.

Required Skills and Competencies :

• Bachelor’s degree in international business or business administration.
• 5+ years of experience in ocean import logistics, shipping, Customs brokerage, and supply-chain management ideally from a multinational company.
• 10+ total years of working experience in multinational, professional organizations, ideally from shipping/logistics department.
• Outstanding knowledge and understanding of supply chain operations.
• Organizational skills that reflect ability to work independently, and efficiently perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working in global, multicultural environments with required cultural awareness.
• Excellent management, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and presentational skills.
• Bilingual with fluent skills in Spanish and English.
• Required to travel: on as needed basis.
