Job Description
We are searching for a Legal Receptionist for a small, dynamic law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services within the Personal Injury and Criminal Defense space.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from potential or existing clients.
- Review and respond to emails from our virtual receptionist.
- Schedule office or phone conferences with attorneys and clients.
- Open, scan, and save mail; distribute physical mail throughout the office.
- Monitor incoming faxes received by email and save to the correct folders.
- Prepare the conference room for Zoom meetings and clean up after all meetings.
- Monitor supply needs and handle matters that arise, such as printer issues, calling IT, and scheduling maintenance as needed.
- Use Outlook and Clio for case management and communication.
- Monitor the reception inbox, ensuring all calls have been responded to and documented in Clio.
- Perform filing, scanning, and saving documents to appropriate folders.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Must Haves:
- 2+ years of experience working in a law firm environment in a reception/office management role.
- Proficiency in Outlook and Clio.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Plusses:
- Spanish bilingual is preferred.
$20 to $25 per hour.
