Are you a dynamic and creative Christian Preschool Teacher passionate about early childhood education? La Jolla Presbyterian Church Preschool is expanding and actively seeking an enthusiastic Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher to join us for the 2025-26 school year.

We are looking for an Assistant and Lead Teacher. Interns are also welcome to apply!

Available Positions:

Lead Teacher

• Salary: $22 - $25 per hour (based on education and experience)
• Requirements:
• Several years of experience as a Preschool Teacher
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• Minimum of 12 to 18 units in Early Childhood Education (ECE)

Additional Opportunities:

• Specialty Class Teacher:
• Salary: $21 - $25 per hour
• Schedule: Weekday afternoons 11:30 am to 3:30 pm

Position Details:

• 2025-26 Academic Calendar : August - June, plus possible six weeks of Summer Fun Program during June & July
• Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 25 – 29+ hours per week
• Scheduled hours: 8:15 am - 1:30 pm
• Before and After School Programs:
• Early Morning Care: Start at 7:30 am
• Specialty Classes:  End at 2:30 or 3:30 pm
