Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the electrician include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise/Lead group of 4-5 Electricians
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
  • Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, circuit-breaker panels, Buss, Busbar, electrical feeders, power systems, and/or switchgear.
  • Connect electrical power to commercial and industrial equipment.
  • Determine wiring layouts and follow electrical code manuals to install and repair systems.
  • Install brackets and hangers; bend, thread, and install conduit.
  • Install, replace, and repair electrical equipment; pull and install wiring throughout structures.
  • Test continuity of circuits with test equipment and troubleshoot faults.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work area while performing all duties.
Qualifications

We are looking for team members with the following qualities:

  • Prior supervising experience.
  • Commercial electrical experience required.
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team depending on scope of work.
  • Strong communication skills with team members and field employees.
  • Capable of performing general physical activities common to the electrical trade.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
  • Conceptualize concepts easily and visualize potential outcomes.
  • Knowledgeable about technological developments in the trade.
  • Great attitude, reliability, and productivity.
  • Committed to safety and a drug-free workplace.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
