Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead Consultant with a strong consulting background and financial services domain expertise to lead strategic initiatives for our clients, particularly within the collections, retail lending, or mortgage space. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing technology and data product engagements and a solid understanding of regulatory and risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and structure consulting engagements for financial services clients, demonstrating strong skills in project planning, execution, and outcome delivery across technology and data product initiatives.
• Build and manage trusted client relationships by proactively understanding client priorities, communicating effectively, and driving strategic discussions to solve complex business challenges.
• Apply understanding of the data lifecycle—including data sourcing, ETL processes, metadata management, and data quality principles—to support the development of robust, compliant data products.
• Apply knowledge of data governance and control frameworks to ensure effective risk and compliance oversight in client initiatives.
• Contribute subject matter expertise in consumer collections and regulatory reporting to support risk management programs and operational improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of experience in financial services consulting (client-facing roles at consulting firms or similar environments).
• Strong understanding of data workflows , including ETL, data quality, and metadata management.
• Demonstrated experience working on projects involving risk management , regulatory reporting , or data governance .
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite , with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

Nice to Have:

• Direct experience in collections , retail lending , or mortgage operations or systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as CCAR , CECL , or DFAST .
• Prior experience working on large-scale data transformation or compliance modernization initiatives.
