We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals with an interest in laboratory work and science. The ideal candidate will have some prior experience in a lab environment, but a bachelor's degree is not required. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with others, and contributing to key laboratory functions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with daily laboratory operations, including sample preparation, data collection, and equipment maintenance.
• Follow lab protocols and safety procedures to ensure accurate and safe handling of materials.
• Track sample data, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Work effectively as part of a team to support research and production goals.
• Communicate findings and updates to supervisors and team members in a clear and timely manner.
• Ensure the laboratory environment remains organized, clean, and in compliance with safety regulations.

Education & Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant coursework in science or laboratory technology preferred.
• Previous laboratory experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Familiarity with LIMS or similar database systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a laboratory setting.

Desired Skills and Experience

Laboratory Experience: Previous experience in laboratory settings, assisting with day-to-day operations, and supporting senior technicians in conducting experiments. Familiarity with basic lab techniques such as sample preparation, data recording, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
Fast-Paced Environment: Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced and high-pressure work environments. Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously and maintaining focus on quality and accuracy under tight deadlines.
Team Collaboration: Strong team player with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Able to adapt to changing priorities and contribute effectively to team success.
Communication Skills: Clear and concise communicator, both verbally and in writing. Able to provide updates on tasks, troubleshoot issues, and support team members.
LIMS System Knowledge: Experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to track sample data, maintain accurate records, and manage inventory.
Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate data collection, proper documentation, and adherence to lab protocols.
Health & Safety Compliance: Knowledge of lab safety protocols and best practices, including proper handling and disposal of materials, adherence to safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
