Lab Operation Manager（US）

🧪 I. Laboratory Operations & Technical Oversight

• Genotyping & NGS Workflows: Supervise high-throughput SNP genotyping workflows, including library preparation, sample processing, and data QC. Implement innovative methods.
• Molecular Techniques: Execute DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, and fluorescence detection.
• Instrument Management: Maintain NGS platforms and automated genotyping systems. Ensure calibration and compliance.

📦 II. Inventory & Data Systems Management

• LIMS Integration: Manage SNP genotyping workflows and reagent tracking.
• Data Security: Ensure proper data recording and contribute to the cloud database.

💬 III. Client Liaison & Project Management

• Technical Consultation: Advise clients on genotyping strategies, MAS (Marker-Assisted Selection) pipelines, and project timelines. Translate complex genomic data for diverse stakeholders.
• Multilingual Communication: Conduct meetings and technical reviews in English and Mandarin (required).
• Project Delivery: Coordinate sample processing, data delivery, customer interface

👥 IV. Team & Compliance Leadership

• Staff Management: Train and supervise technicians/researchers in molecular protocols, safety .
• Regulatory Compliance: Implement SOPs for biosafety, waste disposal, and GLP standards.
• Budgeting: Manage lab budgets for reagents, equipment, and outsourcing.

Qualifications

✅ Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• 1-3+ years’ lab management experience in molecular breeding/genotyping.
• Hands-on expertise with:
• NGS platforms (Illumina/MGI G7/G1+)
• High-throughput genotyping
• Fluency in Mandarin and English (written/spoken).
• Proven ability to bridge technical and client-facing roles.
