Hundred Mile House is a Palm Springs-based design/build firm. We offer in-house architectural, interior and landscape design services as well as fully licensed general contracting services.
Responsibilities
The junior architectural designer will report to architectural project managers or principal and will work closely with many other professionals including internal project team members, external consultants and sub-contractors to provide 2D and 3D drafting and modeling services as required. This individual is responsible for creating CAD documentation for as-builts, design development, permit document preparation, and construction documentation.
Typical day-to-day tasks will include drafting floor plans and elevations based on sketches or other direction as provided by the project design lead, developing and drafting construction details, research codes regarding specific questions the project team may have about implementation, and research and sourcing architectural materials.
