Job Title: Digital IT Project Manager – RPA/AI

Position Overview

The Project Manager (RPA/AI) is responsible for managing the Robotic Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning portfolio. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams— Clinical, Discovery, Finance, TechOps , and Development —to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and implement RPA bots and AI/ML solutions. This position plays a key role in executing and governing the company’s automation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RPA and AI/ML implementation projects , including planning, design, development, and support.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams, onshore/offshore consultants , and vendors to develop solutions.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand needs and gather automation requirements.
• Evaluate existing processes and recommend RPA or AI/ML-driven enhancements.
• Drive solution design , development, and change management activities.
• Oversee a team of developers, business analysts, and support staff , ensuring productivity and professional growth.
• Contribute to strategic and budget planning for digital initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with CSV (Computer System Validation) , GCP , and other regulatory frameworks.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and promote a high-performance culture.

Other Responsibilities

• Recommend and implement policies and standards for digital solutions.
• Align with enterprise strategy for RPA and AI/ML.
• Maintain strong communication with both internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration , or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience , preferably in the pharmaceutical industry .
• Experience working in clinical development environments is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in project management and automation delivery .

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with RPA tools such as UiPath , Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies , including exposure to generative AI , Microsoft Copilot Studio , and OpenAI .
• Strong understanding of CSV , GCP , and validation requirements.

Communication & Analytical Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
