FT position 8:00am-4:30pm M-F

Summary:

This position has oversight for all infection control and prevention related activities within the organization. This employee will also be responsible for all functions of the employee health program and for providing clinical employee health services at Newman Regional Health.

Essential Functions:

• Implement infection control and employee health orientation programs
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures within the organization related to infection control and employee health
• Manages employee health databases and maintain complete and and accurate employee health records
• Responsible for all pre-employment testing and vaccination processes, annual N95 and TB testing and vaccinations
• Participate in infection prevention and control practices education of all employees during orientation and annually thereafter, including classes in infection prevention and control practices and employee health

Ideal candidate:

• Be customer oriented, and utilize time well
• Possess great communication skills and have the ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal
• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN school of nursing and possess current Kansas License
• Three years of clinical nursing experience required
