Job Position: Industrial Painter

Location: Collinsville, OK 74021
Pay Rate: $20.00–$24.00/hour (+ Shift Differential)
Shift: Night Shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 4:30 AM (Overtime as needed)
Job Type: Temp to Hire

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team in Collinsville, OK. This position involves preparing and painting raw materials and piping to meet job specifications, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Preparation:
  • Sand or sandblast raw materials and piping according to job specifications.
  • Prepare units using caulking, masking paper, and plastic as required.
• Painting:
  • Apply primer and topcoat using industrial-grade pressure paint pots and sprayers.
  • Ensure paint pots are clean and functioning to maintain high-quality output.
• Work Area Maintenance:
  • Keep work areas clean and organized after painting.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and support 5S procedures.
• Additional Duties:
  • Work extended hours or weekends as required to meet job demands.
  • Follow safety policies, including proper use of hand tools and safety devices.

Qualifications:

• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for 10+ hours per day.
  • Frequent stooping and kneeling throughout the workday.
  • Lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs unassisted using proper techniques.
  • Must pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT).
  • Sufficient visual acuity and depth perception to perform tasks.
• Work Environment:
  • Tolerance for confined spaces and shop environments, including exposure to industrial boiler manufacturing processes.
  • Proper use of safety equipment when required.
• Skills & Experience:
  • Proficient in operating hand tools (powered and manual).
  • Not afraid of heights and able to work in elevated areas.
