Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) – Swann Clinic for Behavioral Health & Pediatric Psychology Services of Colorado

About Us

Swann Clinic for Behavioral Health is the only Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) and multidisciplinary clinic specializing in early intensive behavioral intervention (EIBI) on the western slope of Colorado. We have established clinics in Glenwood Springs, Rifle, Montrose, Clifton, and Grand Junction , Colorado.

This position is offered through Pediatric Psychology Services of Colorado , a specialty therapy and assessment organization. Your caseload will include direct therapy for children within the Swann Clinic as well as private assessment and therapy opportunities from our community partners, such as pediatricians and other support organizations.


Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Role

We are seeking a passionate, neurodiversity-affirming Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evidence-based therapy to children with diverse communication needs. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy in-clinic and via telehealth.
  • Work with neurodivergent clients , including those with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and other communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on functional communication, social skills, articulation, and AAC (augmentative and alternative communication).
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists to provide integrated care.
  • Engage with families to support skill development beyond therapy sessions.
  • Access a wealth of resources, including online testing materials, AAC devices, and clinical support.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFs welcome!) .
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with neurodivergent clients (ASD, ADHD, Developmental Delays, etc.).
  • Knowledge of AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) and a willingness to learn more.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills —teamwork is highly valued.
  • Passion for neurodiversity-affirming care and child-led interventions.

Ours is a trauma informed model with assent based practices. Our learners grow through play-based interventions, which helps them develop valuable skills they can use later in school and life.
