Job Description

As our company continues to grow, we are searching for a proactive, detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Human Resources team to lead the efforts in monitoring, tracking, and executing the many compliance-related processes required by federal, state and municipal entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and monitoring the process for CORI and S-Licenses where they are required as well as monitoring other employee licensures.
  • Working closely with the recruiting team to identify and develop innovative sources for finding high potential talent for our field projects.
  • Tracking all job-specific compliance-related requirements and drafts letters or documents to adhere to those requirements.
  • Leading the efforts in gathering information for any external audits.
  • Preparing documents for Apprentice Registration and reciprocity for Apprentices and Licensed Electricians.
  • Collaborating with the Contracts team to keep current with job specific, state/federal/city specific requirements as they change to always ensure compliance with state/federal and municipal requirements.

Must Haves:

  • 5-7 years of compliance and/or HR experience, previous work experience with Federal and State Labor agencies is strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy of information to an audit level.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively, with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with a commitment to developing strong relationships.
  • Leadership and project management skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Good writing skills, ability to draft letters to agencies and clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
