Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team in providing high-quality care to seniors at our facility in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in assisting residents with their daily activities, physical tasks, and emotional needs, ensuring their overall wellbeing and happiness.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with essential daily activities including bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting
- Monitor residents' physical and mental health, promptly reporting any changes to the supervising nurse
- Provide emotional support to residents and engage them in enjoyable recreational activities
- Observe and record residents' vital signs, reporting any abnormalities to the nurse immediately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in residents' rooms while assisting with laundry as required
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the wellbeing of residents
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans for each resident
Requirements:
- A valid CNA certification from an accredited program
- A minimum of 1-year experience working as a CNA in a healthcare or senior care facility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening

- This is a full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from $20 to $22 per hour
