Job Summary:
White and White Contracting, LLC is seeking a heavy equipment and diesel mechanic to join our team. This individual will be in a field environment and will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of heavy construction equipment.
Equipment Focus:
-Construction Equipment to Include: Excavators, Loaders, Backhoes, Water Trucks, Heavy & Light Duty Foreman Trucks, Semi Trucks, Belly Dump Trailers, Lowboy Trailer, Water Towers
-Small Construction Tools: Jumping Jacks, Remote Control Rollers, Saws, Generators, Pumps
Skill Set:
-A strong background in diesel and gas engine repair, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics is essential.
-Knowledge of small equipment repair such as whackers / jumping jacks, cut off saws, small generators, air compressors, test pumps.
-Welding & Fab experience
Duties:
-Run diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpret results.
-Oil changes and preventative maintenance on light and heavy duty trucks and semis
-Heavy equipment repair
-Weld and fabricate on equipment and tooling.
Location:
East and West valley. We currently have jobs in Maricopa, San Tan Valley, Gilbert, Goodyear and Phoenix. All equipment repairs will be done in the field on a job site or at our equipment yard in Chandler.
Requirements:
Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) highly preferred. Clean MVR. Ability to pass a drug test.
