Quality Manager

Position Overview
The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes within the food manufacturing sector, specifically focusing on peanut-based snacks. The role aims to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety, in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for peanut snack production.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for quality improvement and implement corrective actions.
Manage and train quality assurance staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Lead investigations into product quality issues and develop action plans to resolve them.
Ensure all quality documentation is maintained and updated in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in quality management within the food manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards specific to snack foods.
Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and tools such as Six Sigma or HACCP.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
