This position is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in a corporate setting while building a foundation in financial services and customer-facing roles.

Job Summary

As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients visiting the firm’s retail-style financial center. You’ll be responsible for greeting clients, managing incoming calls, and supporting the office staff with day-to-day administrative functions. Your professionalism and attention to detail will help ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for every client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in clients with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, or take clear, detailed messages
  • Assist clients with appointment confirmations, directions, or general inquiries
  • Maintain a tidy, organized, and presentable front office/reception area
  • Schedule meetings and appointments for financial advisors and staff
  • Handle basic administrative support tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
  • Monitor and manage client wait times; offer refreshments as appropriate
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Collaborate with office and operations staff to ensure client satisfaction
  • Assist with occasional light customer service tasks such as form completion, client onboarding materials, or appointment reminders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 0–2 years of experience in a receptionist, customer service, or retail/front desk role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using office software (Microsoft Office, Outlook) and learning new systems
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Discretion and integrity when handling confidential financial information
  • Willingness to work in a client-focused environment where punctuality and professionalism are key
