Sweet Fish is looking for a talented freelance Video Editor to help create compelling video podcast episodes and YouTube Shorts for our clients. If you’re passionate about storytelling and delivering polished content, we’d love to hear from you!

As a freelance Video Editor at Sweet Fish, you'll work closely with our media strategists, client coordinators, and lead videographer to produce videos that perform across YouTube and social media. You’ll be responsible for taking raw footage and turning it into engaging, polished content that aligns with our clients' goals.

What You’ll Do:

• Edit Video Content: Produce high-quality video podcasts and YouTube Shorts by turning raw footage into polished, engaging content.
• Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with media strategists and client coordinators to ensure the content aligns with client goals and performs well on social platforms.
• Creative Input: Contribute your artistic vision to the editing process, providing v1 edits that require minimal revisions.
• Manage Multiple Projects: Juggle various client projects, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication about timelines and expectations.
• Optimize for Social Media: Edit content optimized for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn, following best practices for each.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ Years of Video Editing Experience: Proven experience creating high-quality content for social media platforms.
• Creative Vision: Strong attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing edits with minimal guidance.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency with Adobe Premiere (Adobe CC is essential), and bonus points for familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Descript.
• Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects, adjust timelines, and communicate clearly about progress.
• 4K Editing Experience: Comfortable working with large RAW 4K files and optimizing them for digital platforms.
• Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of how video content supports business goals and drives engagement.
• Adaptability: Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing client needs quickly.

Location: Winter Garden, FL (on-site at Sweet Fish’s Creator House)

Position: Freelance

Compensation: Competitive rates, based on experience

Time Commitment: Part-time (variable based on project load)
