Job Description

This contract opportunity requires on-site presence several days per week. The Financial Analyst will support core accounting and finance activities, including reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and special projects. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, highly proficient in Excel, and experienced in general accounting and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare asset, liability, and financial account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Perform journal entries and support monthly close activities
• Conduct account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Report and analyze financial data within internal finance systems
• Assist with transactional accounting responsibilities
• Support financial reporting, research, and presentation building
• Collaborate on special projects within accounting and finance teams

Required Experience

• 4–5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial analysis
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles (pharma experience not required)
• Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, data manipulation)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• SAP experience preferred (any module; SAP Analysis for Office is used but not required)

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience creating PowerPoint decks and supporting leadership reporting
• Ability to conduct research and synthesize findings into clear summaries
• Familiarity with SAP Analysis for Office
