Financial Analyst
Job Description
The Financial Analyst at Jade Company provides data-driven financial insights and supports strategic decision-making through analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This role works cross-functionally to evaluate business trends, identify opportunities for cost savings, and ensure financial integrity through robust analytics. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in working with financial data to improve business performance. This is a fully onsite position and is not eligible for remote work or work-from-home arrangements . The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, in-person environment and be available to work the full scheduled hours in Montgomery, Texas .
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
• Partner with business units to assess financial impacts of operational activities.
• Conduct variance analysis between actuals and budget/forecast.
• Develop financial models to evaluate business initiatives and investment opportunities.
• Assist with month-end close and reporting processes.
• Support ad hoc reporting requests and special projects from leadership.
• Ensure data accuracy across reporting systems and suggest process improvements
Required Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or business intelligence.
Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in CPG Distribution and service-based environments.
• Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
• Position is primarily performed in a professional office environment
• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and operate standard office equipment
• Occasional travel may be required for meetings or training
