We have an immediate need for experienced Field Inspectors for a heavy civil project in New Jersey.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in Edison, New Jersey, NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, and Boston.

The individual will perform Field Inspections on various site construction activities including excavation, pile driving, rebar, concrete and utility relocations.

• Experience in on-site construction inspection of site civil work
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Public agency experience a plus
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods and procedures
• Ability to maintain highly detailed field and office records and perform quantity calculations.
• Extensive experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Collaborate with multiple team members
• Physical ability and coordination to safely maneuver around a construction site
• Experienced in on-line project management software
• Strong understanding of OSHA requirements
• Candidates with equivalent experience working for contractors may be considered as well
