POSITION SUMMARY

The Facilities Team Member maintains HVAC systems, performs minor repairs, and ensures equipment runs smoothly. Responsibilities include changing filters, cleaning coils, checking equipment daily, managing inventory, and coordinating with vendors. The role also involves assisting with facility projects, repairs, painting, and general maintenance.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Have a knowledge of building HVAC and be able to troubleshoot and relay information to vendors.
  • Keep all equipment in good and clean working order, responsible for changing AC filters,cleaning coils and strainers on all AC and Refrigeration equipment.
  • Be able to fix minor things such as small leaks,change electrical outlets and breakers.
  • Daily checks to make sure all equipment is running properly. Check belts,filters/strainers,boiler oil levels,fire extinguishers.
  • Supply lists of materials needed,AC filters, compressor oils,
  • Need to be able to promptly respond to restaurant needs,answer messages and respond on resq. Call vendors if required and report status to the Director of Facilities.
  • Duties will also include helping the Facility team on projects Painting, Repairs to Facility,cleaning streets and facility etc.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL

  • Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in facilities or a similar maintenance-related role; experience in high-traffic environments is a plus (e.g., restaurants, hotels, commercial properties).
  • A strong sense of urgency in responding to maintenance needs and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent service by ensuring the facility is always clean, well-maintained, and operating efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with team members, guests, and management.
  • Attention to detail in performing routine inspections, maintenance tasks, and repairs.
  • A desire for growth and development within the facilities management field.
  • Long-term goals to build a career in facilities maintenance and management.
  • A rigorous attention to detail, ensuring that all maintenance and repair work meets high standards.
  • Ability to take direction and execute tasks efficiently, ensuring proper execution of maintenance tasks.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to perform essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and climb steps regularly.
  • Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this position is from $19.00 - $21 per hour. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, etc.
