Trust Accounting - Accounts Receivable

Location: Century City

Pay: $23-25/hour (Contract to Hire)

Industry: Entertainment

Bachelor’s Degree Required

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply incoming payments for events and tours to the appropriate accounts.
• Process settlements based on agent-provided figures.
• Issue client payments and generate corresponding reports.
• Update and maintain financial tracking systems for deposits and settlements.
• Follow up on pending booking reports and input data into the system.
• Ensure all payments have proper supporting documentation.
• Respond to agent and coordinator requests for financial details.
• Investigate and resolve held or unclaimed payments.
• Organize and file accounting records in a timely manner.
• Support system improvements and process enhancements.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of accounting experience, preferably in entertainment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to type at least 45 WPM and use a 10-key keypad.
• Strong organizational skills with a proactive work ethic.
