Job Description
As a hard-charging and entrepreneurial accounting team member, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial accuracy, integrity, and innovation within our fast-growing accounting firm. This role demands a proactive and solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Location: Scottsdale, Arizona (On-Site)
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Reconcile and post merchant fee statements and third-party payment processors.
- Maintain accurate records by filing and recording documents, receipts, and transactions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Manage fixed assets, accruals, and amortization schedules.
- Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Conduct financial analysis, including ratio analysis, variance analysis, and trend analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to company financial policies.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active CPA certification preferred or Chartered Accountant (CA) equivalent
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a solutions-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Working Conditions:
This is an on-site, in-person position based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Candidates must not have visible tattoos above the shoulders. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in all company work areas, managed/owned properties, company vehicles, and within 10 feet of all entrances, exits, ramps, windows, and air-intake vents.
