eDiscovery & Litigation Support Manager – Prestigious Century City Law Firm

An eDiscovery & Litigation Support Manager opportunity is available with a highly respected Century City law firm specializing in litigation, real estate, construction litigation, healthcare, and other practice areas. This firm is known for low turnover, (an average employee has tenure of 12 years) and a commitment to DEI, professional development, and teamwork .

The eDiscovery Paralegal & Litigation Support Manager will manage all aspects of high-profile, complex litigation from case inception through trial. This position requires expertise in eDiscovery workflows, litigation support technology, and team management.

Responsibilities

Litigation Case Management & Trial Support

  • Supervise case teams handling complex litigation, coordination of eDiscovery and trial preparation.
  • Oversee cite checks, court filings, and discovery plans
  • Manage litigation databases, develop case chronologies and timelines , and assist with deposition preparation, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Provide hands-on support in managing large volumes of discovery and document review processes .

eDiscovery Management

  • Manage eDiscovery workflows , including document collection, processing, review, and production.
  • Utilize ECA, TAR, and analytics tools .
  • Set up coding structures, issue fields, and search criteria for document review teams.
  • Conduct document searches, apply issue tagging, and prepare privilege logs .
  • Manage Bates-labeling, document productions, and ESI maintenance .
  • Extensive experience with Relativity, Opus2, Court Alert, Trial Director/OnCue , and other platforms. Relativity Certified Administrator preferred .

Litigation Support Leadership

  • Work with Litigation Team Chair to implement firm-wide litigation support standards and policies .
  • Oversee litigation support professionals.
  • Provide training for attorneys and legal staff on litigation technology, document review platforms, and ESI.
  • Serve as primary liaison with litigation support vendors.
  • Oversee in-house data management, processing, imaging, and production activities .
  • Manage docketing and calendaring.
  • Analyze software updates and technology advancements , providing recommendations.

Qualifications:

✔ Minimum 10 years of combined experience in eDiscovery, litigation support, management and paralegal roles within complex business litigation.

Extensive experience managing litigation databases and discovery platforms , including Relativity, Opus2, Court Alert, and Trial Director/OnCue .

✔ Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring legal support staff.

✔ Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program (preferred).

✔ Ability to manage high-stakes litigation.
