Our offerings—ranging from MicroFridges to our patent-pending bigger bed — make campus living more sustainable, equitable, and comfortable. We’ve experienced 85% growth this year, and we’re looking for a dynamic leader to join our team and help drive our expansion.

Role Overview:

The Director of Strategy and Operations will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing Eepy’s operations while spearheading strategic initiatives for growth. Based in NYC, this position demands a project management expert who can juggle multiple priorities, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver results.

This is a senior position, perfect for someone with a consulting background and startup experience who is ready to make a significant impact in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project workflows, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.
  • Develop and implement project plans for move-ins/move-outs, marketing campaigns, and campus launches.
  • Proactively identify risks, troubleshoot challenges, and maintain accountability across teams.

Operational Leadership:

  • Coordinate logistics for large-scale move-ins and move-outs, working with professional movers and student teams.
  • Optimize supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery and pickup of rental items.
  • Streamline operational systems to improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

Partnership Development:

  • Build and maintain relationships with university and corporate partners.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to grow existing partnerships and establish new ones.

Business Development:

  • Identify and execute strategies to expand Eepy’s presence to new campuses.
  • Analyze market trends, gather customer insights, and use data to inform strategic decisions.

Collaboration with Leadership:

  • Work closely with the CEO to shape the company’s strategic direction and achieve growth targets.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience, including 2-3 years in consulting and experience in a startup or high-growth company.
  • Project Management: Exceptional project management skills, with a proven ability to handle complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. PMP certification or similar is a plus.
  • Leadership: Strong track record of managing cross-functional teams, including remote workers and students.
  • Operational Expertise: Deep understanding of logistics, supply chain, and operational workflows.
  • Strategic Thinking: Experience in business development, partnership management, or scaling operations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communicator and relationship-builder, able to manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Data-Driven: Analytical mindset with the ability to make informed decisions based on data.
  • Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to NYC (in-office role with flexible arrangements).

Why Join Eepy?

  • Mission-Driven: Be part of a company transforming campus living to be more sustainable, equitable, and comfortable.
  • Leadership Opportunity: Take on a senior role with significant autonomy and influence.
  • Flexibility: Enjoy unlimited vacation, remote days, and a supportive work environment.
  • Growth Potential: Work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where your contributions make a real impact.
