The Role

The Director of People Operations & Community Engagement will be responsible for leading and optimizing all aspects of our people strategy, ensuring seamless onboarding, employee experience, compliance, engagement, compensation, benefits, and process automation. This role demands a highly proactive, results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing both people and business outcomes

Key Responsibilties

Lead, Manage, and Hold People Accountable

  • Drive a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations and holding teams accountable.
  • Develop leadership capabilities across the organization to strengthen internal talent pipelines.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, trust, and alignment with company objectives.

Seamless Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Implement a best-in-class onboarding process to ensure new hires are fully integrated and productive.
  • Continuously improve employee experience by measuring engagement and satisfaction.
  • Establish and drive initiatives to enhance employee retention and morale.

HR Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations as well as any applicable global labor laws and regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with business needs.
  • Maintain ethical HR practices and protect company interests in employment-related matters.

Performance & Engagement Program Execution

  • Oversee performance review processes to foster continuous feedback and professional growth.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with company values and mission.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to enhance workplace culture and productivity.

Compensation & Benefits Optimization

  • Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Optimize total rewards strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Ensure compliance with compensation and benefits regulations while maintaining cost efficiency.

HR Systems Automation & Process Efficiency

  • Leverage technology to streamline HR operations, reduce administrative overhead, and improve employee experience.
  • Implement AI-driven and data-backed approaches to enhance decision-making in hiring, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Establish clear KPIs and track HR metrics to drive continuous improvements.

Thought Leadership & Industry Positioning

  • Execute on InRhythm’s content strategy that positions InRhythm as a leader in platform modernization, app development, data, and AI consulting.
  • Drive consultant-driven content initiatives to enhance employer branding.
  • Craft compelling narratives that differentiate InRhythm in the market.
  • Champion the development of high-quality content, including blogs, newsletters, case studies, social media posts, and video content.
  • Additional responsibilities as defined by management, including new projects, cross-functional support, or other tasks aligned with evolving business needs and priorities.

Consultant Community & Culture Marketing

  • Develop and execute a strategy to grow and nurture InRhythm’s professional community.
  • Cultivate an engaged consultant community through curated training, AI-driven skill development, and feedback channels.
  • Drive initiatives to achieve consultant retention metrics by enhancing internal engagement and professional growth opportunities.
  • Lead the development of a best-in-class employer brand to attract and retain top talent.

Brand Strategy & Market Differentiation

  • Define and reinforce InRhythm’s brand positioning with a focus on differentiation and competitive advantage.
  • Enhance brand storytelling and elevate brand equity through high-impact campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine InRhythm’s messaging and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Community Engagement & Growth

  • Build and nurture a vibrant consultant community that fosters growth, collaboration, and shared learning.
  • Launch and manage the Consultant Community Platform, including training resources, mentorship programs, and engagement tools.
  • Apply for at least one “Best Places to Work” award, leveraging anonymized engagement surveys.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related disciplines.
  • Certifications such as SHRM is a plus.
  • 8-12+ years of progressive experience in HR, People Operations, or Talent Management within a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
  • 3+ years of management experience in a senior HR or People Operations role.
  • Must have experience in an IT consulting or IT professional services firm.
  • Proven experience in developing and scaling HR processes, systems, and people strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience in managing teams and holding people accountable through strong leadership principles.
  • Strong track record in reducing attrition, enhancing employee engagement, and optimizing talent acquisition strategies.
  • Ability to drive business goals through effective people strategies.
  • Experience leading HR process optimization and transformations, including automation and digital HR tools.
  • Expertise in developing strategies to attract and retain top talent, including scaling hiring capacity.
  • Ability to implement frameworks that enhance productivity and workplace culture.
  • Knowledge of competitive salary structures and benefits optimization.
  • Experience positioning a company as an industry leader through content, branding, and Data-driven mindset with experience using HR analytics and reporting tools.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $150,000 - $165,000 per year, base salary. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on level and position offered.
