Job Description

Title:Director/ Managing Director Project Finance

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Hybrid

Staffing Opportunities Solutions Inc. is partnered with a top renewables client who develops, finances, and operates integrated solar and battery storage solutions across the country. They are looking to hire a Director/ Senior Director to lead the execution of a variety of financing structures, including transactions at the project, portfolio, and corporate levels, and spanning debt, tax equity, cash equity and M&A transactions.

The ideal background would be someone with proven experience with tax equity structures in the solar industry. Strong credit, financial analysis, quantitative, and modeling skills.

Responsibilities :

  • Originate new relationships with financing parties across the tax equity, debt and cash equity landscape for the company.
  • Serve as commercial lead for negotiations with external counterparties on financing transactions and overall transaction lead to drive towards the deal team to financial close.
  • Own all aspects of the financial models for project financing transactions, across a diversity of transaction structures for utility scale solar and storage projects in the US.
  • Work with other company leaders to develop market entry, power marketing, value engineering and financing strategies for the company's growing and dynamic pipeline.
  • Manage, mentor and provide guidance to analysts and associates.

Qualifications :

  • BA/BS degree (MBA or other relevant graduate degrees welcome)
  • 7-10+ years of relevant finance experience in the renewable energy industry
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, accountability, and comfort working independently as needed
  • Ability to work well with multiple teams across functions and offices.
  • Leadership ability and a passion for providing mentorship, guidance, and training to junior colleagues on the team, including multiple direct reports.
