Diamond Sales Associate

Overview:

London Jewelers is a premier jewelry business, family owned and operated for over 90 years. We continue to set the standard for quality and service in providing customers with the finest selection of diamonds, designer jewelry, fine timepieces and gifts, presented in a luxurious style and setting with superior customer service. We are seeking a Diamond Sales Professional in our Boutique.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate passion and show extensive knowledge of diamonds and precious gemstones.
• Provide the highest level of customer service, helping each client with their most romantic milestone purchases, striving to attain customer loyalty.
• Ability to operate Point of Sales (POS) systems proficiently, handling transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, special orders) accurately and efficiently.
• Perform with teamwork and work professionally with fellow sales associates and management.

Qualifications/Experience:

• At least 2 years previous retail selling experience in selling engagement rings, wedding bands, and bridal diamond jewelry
• Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holiday

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate Gemologist degree or previous Gemological Institute of America (GIA) course work is a plus.

Job Type:

• Full-time

Salary:

• $35.00 per hour
• The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
