Overview The Class A CDL Delivery Driver will deliver items to each stop, as well as pickup items to be delivered to our W.B. Mason locations. This is an overnight position Sunday – Thursday, guaranteed home every day. Delivery locations will vary based on needs, but include Albany, Rochester, and Buffalo. Exciting Benefits of a W.B. For candidates based in New York State, this position’s starting hourly range typically pays between $27 - $30.
Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Develop and maintain outstanding working relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Make sure all pick up and deliveries are delivered on time to ensure customer's satisfaction
- Provide timely deliveries as required
- Obtain signatures for delivery
- Resolve customer issues as appropriate
- May be exposed to varying weather conditions
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle
- Follow all FMCSA, DOT, traffic laws and regulations at all times
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Must be able to work independently and manage time appropriately to meet deadlines
- Valid Driver's license with clean driving record
- Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. frequently
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT medical certificate
- Ability to pass pre-employment screens
- Outstanding customer service and communication skill
Qualifications Education and/or Experience - Valid Class A CDL license
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year driving experience with a favorable driving history
