Job Description

The Data Quality Analyst (VP level) will play a pivotal role in coordinate the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data across Natixis CIB Americas businesses and in line with Head Office processes.

This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing technical data quality frameworks, methodologies, and tools to enhance our data assets, re-using Head Office solution where possible. The Data Quality Analyst will collaborate with the businesses to assist on identifying data quality issues, design solutions, and promote best practices in data management.

He/she/they will have the following responsibilities:

  • Framework Development: Design and implement a comprehensive technical data quality framework that includes data profiling, data validation, data cleansing, and monitoring processes, capitalizing first on head office approach.
  • Data Quality Tools: Evaluate, select, and manage data quality tools and technologies that facilitate automated data quality assessments and remediation processes.
  • Issue Resolution: Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to identify data quality issues, analyze root causes, and develop actionable remediation plans.
  • Data Quality Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess data quality, providing regular reporting to stakeholders on data quality status and improvement efforts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, in the Americas platform and Head Office, including data governance, data architecture, and business intelligence, to ensure alignment on data quality initiatives and standards.
  • Technical Documentation: Assist the business to create and maintain detailed documentation of data quality processes, data lineage, and metadata to support transparency and compliance.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to technical staff on data quality best practices, tools, and methodologies, fostering a culture of data stewardship within the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data quality management, continuously enhancing the organization’s data quality capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in data quality management, data engineering, or a related technical field, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Experience using the IDQ (Informatica Data Quality) suite and Informatica Power Center for development and reporting; Experience on alternative solution is welcomed and should be demonstrated.
  • Deep knowledge of data quality processes, approaches, measurement techniques, and business cases including Profiling, cleansing, standardization and Match/Merge;
  • Demonstrated experience implementing Informatica’s Data Quality components (rules, glossaries, scorecards);

The salary range for this position will be between $140,000 - $175,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
